Who am I?
I am a French midwife working in the UK. I graduated from university (name of university!!) in Clermont-Ferrand (France) in 2000.
After graduation, I did some locum work before being based for 7 years in Paris. There, I worked in various maternity hospitals, both private and public covering a wide range of roles e.g. labour ward, high risk pregnancies, antenatal clinic, postnatal ward.
This experience empowered me to widen my knowledge and enabled me to meet a wide range of medical professionals, thus seeing practices/ approaches from different perspectives.
I moved to London in 2012 where I initially worked in the community focussing on antenatal follow-up, antenatal classes and postnatal home visits.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences with others and therefore, in 2014, I obtained a Certificate of Mentorship from London City University. This enables me to support and teach student midwives in the hospital.
I currently work in various maternity hospitals across London, including UCLH, Chelsea & Westminster, Homerton, Royal Free. My current role focusses mainly on labour ward and birthing centre
For me, being a midwife is a vocation. The journey of pregnancy right up to birth is full of the most amazing moments of joy. But it also gives rise a lot of questions, doubts and fears. I believe that as a midwife my role is to support parents by providing answers, calming fears and simply listening. And by doing this, will allow the couple to live this journey with confidence and enjoyment.
I offer antenatal or postnal visits (according to clients needs)
French, English and Spanish speaker.
I am registered at the Nurse and Midwife Council
